What I Am Thankful For This Year
Bari and Jesse Wiens in Florence, Italy
As the year comes to a close, I have been reflecting on what I am truly grateful for, both personally and professionally. It has been a season of growth, change, and new opportunities that continue to shape who I am as a designer and marketer and as a person.
This year I launched my own fractional marketing business, a dream that once felt far away and now feels incredibly rewarding. I am thankful for the wonderful clients who have trusted me with their brands. My work in real estate and in several other industries has sharpened my design and marketing skills and expanded my perspective. Exploring new sectors and creative challenges inspires me every day and fuels my excitement to bring fresh ideas to every project.
I am grateful for the chance to invest in myself. I made a commitment to my future self by taking AI courses in creative strategy this summer, deepening my expertise and expanding the way I think about content, branding, and innovation.
Travel has always been a spark for creativity in my life. This year my husband and I explored Italy together, and that experience reminded me how important it is to step out into the world, take in new beauty, and return home more inspired than before.
I am even thankful for the simple joys of learning something new. I started playing Mah Jongg, which has been a reminder that continual learning keeps my mind sharp and my friendships strong.
Most of all, I am thankful for my family, their good health, and their support. Watching my husband and two sons thrive and build happy lives fills me with so much gratitude.
